Bois D’Arc Kennel was founded by Laurie and Nathan Daniel in 1990. As with most individual proprietorships, the Daniels started small with a single breed. As good businessmen, they did their research on how to build a respected, well-run commercial dog kennel.

As the business expanded, they acquired five small breeds, one large, and one medium breed. Unlike the infamous puppy mills, they built 14 ft. dog runs for all their dogs with a little more space for the Bullmastiffs. Dog lovers themselves, they make sure all the dogs are carefully tended as to cleanliness and fresh food and water. They also provide regular health care and make certain all dogs have shots and worming regularly.

Bois D’Arc Kennel, with its variety of breeds is not focused on quantity. It is focused on quality. The different breeds provide happiness for different types of people and families who have different needs. The number of dogs and puppies on the ground is regulated in order to provide the best care and the best homes.
